  22. ChaCha allows you get other people to help with your search

  24. Collarity for personalised searching across different types of data
  25. Collecta for real time search
  26. CompletePlant for 70k of searchable databases. Good for deep web

  38. Exalead is an excellent alternative to Google
  39. Excite is there, but does anyone use it any more?

  42. FaganFinder is a superb collection of search resources
  43. Fefoo multi search engine with access to 250+ search engines
  44. Findanyfilm available in the UK in any format
  45. FindSounds for sound effects
  46. FinQoo is an underwhelming meta search engine
  47. Freesearch  is a UK based search resource
  48. Galaxy is a directory based search engine
  49. Google doesn't need any words from me

  51. healia is an excellent medical search engine
  52. Hotbot is a blast from the past and that's about all
  53. Hunch is a decision engine, which works very well indeed
  54. iBoogie is a clustering meta search engine
  55. Icerocket has RSS feed options and is a good alternative
  56. IllumiRate lights your way through the web. Apparently.

  58. Info Service is quirky and very colourful. Odd directory though
  59. Internet Archive to see all those old pages!
  60. Intute for academic resources. First class service

  62. Iseek is a clustering search engine; very good too
  63. Ixquick is an excellent metasearch engine
  64. Jux2 compares Google, Yahoo and Bing results. Very useful
  65. KidsClick is websearch for children by librarians
  66. KidRex is another children's safe search engine
  67. Kngine styles itself as a Web 3 semantic web search engine
  68. Librarians' Internet Index is a brilliant resource
  69. LocateTV find shows, actors and movies
  70. Lycos is still out there, but getting old and creaky
  71. Mahalo for social search, human created information resources
  72. Mamma is the mother of all meta search engines
  73. Melzoo results on the left, fullscreen page on the right pane
  74. MetaCrawler is a meta search engine
  75. Middlespot is a visual search engine
  76. Monstercrawler for a GYAB search
